Sunny Clemo - Executive Program Assistant
Sunny Clemo joined Grandmothers Against Gun Violence in 2017 after moving to Seattle from her hometown of Panama City, FL. Having grown up in the deep South where gun ownership is commonplace, she learned early on about the political and cultural challenges that arise when trying to balance gun right and responsibilities, and thus, developed a passion for gun violence prevention. She performs various administrative functions for both GAGV and the GAGV Foundation. She received her BS in Economics from Florida State University and is currently enrolled in the M. Public Administration program at the University of Washington.
Sarah Dean - Strategic Outreach & Communications
Sarah J.E. Dean serves on the Diversity and Inclusion, Membership and Communications Committees. She is retired after a 36-year career with Washington State’s Community and Technical Colleges, as tenured faculty at Renton Technical College; adjunct faculty at Shoreline, Seattle Central, South Seattle and Highline Colleges and Director of Public Information at Seattle Vocational Institute. She graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in English and Communications. Sarah recently received the Social Justice Award from the Black Law Enforcement Association of Washington (BLEAW)She has three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
